2021 – A New Look Fleet Team for Compass London Markets

We were pleased to start the new year by combining our expertise, market access and experience with Bishopsgate Insurance Brokers (read more).

In a short time the combined motor fleet team have achieved much success.

£35m GWP

Headed up by Darren Grodent and consisting of 16 staff, the combined team places £35m GWP into Lloyds and the London markets.

Over 200 new cases

So far, 2021 has seen CLM pick up over 200 new cases with a full spectrum of trades and sizes, from mini fleet to haulage.

“Wide market access means we often go to markets that our competitors don’t deal with. This is illustrated by 2 recent wins where we approached key markets not accessed by a major competitor. One of the cases was a large risk, which we picked up for a supporting broker with a market that majors in Self Drive Hire. The second win was up against the same Lloyds broker on a six figure premium fleet. We secured that by looking at a market that looks to build a risk managed strategy with the client over a 3 year period.
